Mission
The Game Audio Diversity Alliance is a nonprofit charity founded and operated by game audio professionals with the objective of addressing the egregious disparity in representation within the industry, particularly in the game audio sub-discipline.
The long-term objectives of the Game Audio Diversity Alliance are to create career advancement opportunities for underrepresented groups within the Game Audio industry by establishing a scholarship initiative to provide financial support; by facilitating mentorship connections between underrepresented individuals and experienced professionals; and to build toward a more inclusive and diverse industry by establishing a network of partnerships with individuals and organizations with similar goals.

Meet the team that keeps the Game Audio Diversity Alliance running.
Caleb Epps is an award-winning sound designer and audio director for games and interactive media. He got his start in game audio sound designing for the Rock Band series at Harmonix Music Systems in Boston.
Over the course of the past 14 years, he’s helped shape the soundscape of a wide variety of games: from Indie to AAA, PC to console to VR. Caleb is currently the Audio Director at Brass Lion Entertainment.
He received a BA in African-American studies from Harvard University, and an MFA in Composition and Experimental Sound Practices from California Institute of the Arts.
Monet Gardiner is a Sound Designer with 8+ years of experience in video games, film, television, music, and multimedia. Monet has worked with 343 Industries at Microsoft on Halo Infinite for the new XBox Series X and Electronic Arts on NBA Live 19 and NBA Live 20.
Previous achievements include Production Mixer & Supervisor on Emmy award-winning live sitcom “The BUZZ”, and Technical Sound Designer on The Rookies 2017 VR Game of the year “Centauri”.
She’s currently working as a Dialogue Coordinator with Sony Interactive Entertainment PlayStation on God of War:Ragnarok
Frank Lubsey is a Pittsburgh-based game audio composer and sound designer that currently serves as the Audio Manager at Schell Games. He is an alumni of the School of Video Game Audio studying both FMOD and Pure Data under Leonard Paul.
He is passionate about music, games, and helping others break into the game audio industry
Dan Reynolds has been working in the Game Audio industry for more than 15 years. Currently, he is working at Epic Games as the Technical Audio Designer embedded with the Unreal Audio Engine development team.
Having worked previously in game audio education, he is a strong advocate for how education and mentorship can bridge the gap between disparity and prosperity and is eager to work with the Game Audio Diversity Alliance on its mission.
Helen Yang is currently an audio programmer at Epic Games working on Unreal Engine, and previously interned at Blizzard on an internal game engine and EA on The Sims 4.
She is a UC Berkeley graduate, where she majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and led Cal Women in Gaming, a student organization creating a social community and professional development opportunities for marginalized genders interested in games. She is passionate about the value of mentorship and empowering others to enter and succeed in this industry.
Colin Andrew Grant is a Music and Sound Designer with 5 years of game audio experience currently serving as music implementer at Respawn Entertainment. He’s worked on projects such as Halo Infinite, Ghost of Tsushima, and Days Gone.
He received undergraduate degrees in Music and Rhetoric & Communication Studies as well as a professional studies degree in Technology and Applied Composition from The San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Having seen improvements in game audio’s diversity in the last few years, Colin is excited to join GADA to usher in an even greater wave of talented and diverse professionals.
